The SMBHA is a community based ball hockey league for young Muslim boys between the ages of 8 and 20.  Our main objective is to provide an avenue for boys in the community to come together, engage in friendly competition and most of all, to have fun!  

Our league president is Saleh Hafejee, who is also a referee and co-ordinates various administrative matters.  Imran Patel generously donates his time as a referee and league adviser.  The organization is also supported by countless volunteers and local sponsors.  Currently, we are in our sixth year of operation and working to improve the league in response to increasing interest from boys in the community. 

As of the current season, the league has split into two divisions: Juniors ages 8-11 and Seniors ages 12-16.  The 2009 season is scheduled from April to August and will consist of tryouts, a draft, 12 game regular season, tournament day, playoffs and awards, Insha Allah.  All games will be played outdoors at Cornell Junior Public School on Sunday mornings beginning 10 am.  For more information, email us at: info@smbha.ca
